Job summary

L&M Corrugated is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. The role runs Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM with starting pay at $20.00/hour. Overtime opportunities and room for advancement are available as you grow in the position.

You will operate and monitor production machinery, ensure product quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and read work orders and blueprints. We value teamwork and a safety-first approach in our family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging industry is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
• Perform accurate and efficient machine setups and changeovers
• Run materials through machines according to production specifications
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency
• Identify and report equipment issues or defective materials
• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Complete work orders based on production needs
