Job description

This position will start through our Staffing Agency first until hours are met, temp to hire. Current 2nd shift hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm, and candidates must be available to work 10-hour days as required.

It is preferred but not required that Machine Operators possess at least minimal competency in the following areas:

• Reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Using a tape measure.
• Use of computer.
• Reading specifications and following job procedures.
• Understanding Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow design specifications, bill of materials, and work instructions.
• Performing proper setup and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories used on projects.
• Ensuring that all machine procedures are performed in accordance with company guidelines.
• Following all company safety protocols.
• Inspecting the work area and machines used during the day before leaving at the end of each shift.
• Attending and actively participating in training classes and safety sessions.
