Base pay range

$23.85/hr - $23.85/hr

Pay Rate: $23.85/hour + Shift Differential ($1 for 2nd Shift)

Job Summary

The Machine Operator performs set-ups, makes minor adjustments, and operates packaging equipment. Responsibilities include identifying product quality per customer requirements, performing wash and changeover of equipment, and working with GMPs consistently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs accurate equipment setups for product runs.
• Operates and adjusts equipment to meet quality standards.
• Inspects and tests packages, documenting results.
• Stages materials for changeovers.
• Completes documentation related to the role.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP preferred or willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills for material calculations.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle small tools.
• Ability to follow safety policies.
• English reading and writing skills preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing setting with machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Stand for up to 80% of scheduled time.
• Lift 40 lbs. unassisted and 40-75 lbs. with assistance.
• Willing to work overtime and across shifts as needed.
