Join to apply for the Machine Operator - 2nd Shift role at Cryopak.

Cryopak is an innovative manufacturer of cold chain & temperature-controlled packaging solutions for pharmaceutical, life science, biotech, food, and electronic companies. We focus on maintaining product integrity through design, testing, manufacturing of packaging and materials for shipping cold chain products, along with providing hardware and software for temperature verification during distribution.

Hours/Shift: 2nd Shift from 2:30pm – 11:00pm

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities)

As a Machine Operator, you will perform skilled work in the setup, operation, basic maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and/or packaging equipment to safely and effectively produce Temperature Control Packaging and related goods according to Cryopak Quality Policy and Manufacturing Procedures.

  1. Setup and operate manufacturing and/or packaging equipment.
  2. Load and feed machinery with specified raw materials and parts.
  3. Perform basic repairs and maintenance during production hours and coordinate with Maintenance Mechanic for advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  4. Refer to work order packages and procedural instructions before starting work.
  5. Ensure all work is performed according to specifications, instructions, and requirements.
  6. Assist in manual labor tasks such as handling, assembly, loading, unloading, packing, and palletization.
  7. Follow safety policies and procedures.
  8. Conduct quality assurance checks as designated, adhering to Cryopak Quality Policies.
  9. Accurately record production information in work order packages.
  10. Meet production standards within a reasonable timeframe based on task difficulty.
  11. Guide other team members on next steps as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand product specifications.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Mechanical inclination.
