Job Description

This role involves performing operational functions of data manipulation on various types of label equipment within the department to meet production quality standards and deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate label machines efficiently to meet production deadlines according to the daily schedule.
• Minimize waste and misuse of raw materials.
• Communicate production issues with supervisors or managers.
• Maintain a schedule of cleaning and maintenance for machines.
• Perform distribution functions as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and keep accurate logs for quality control and FIFO inventory management.
• Use TCM system to log jobs accurately, recording time and materials.
• Maintain all dies and ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and management to complete tasks within deadlines.
• Work overtime or on different shifts as required.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 1:00pm to 9:30pm

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with digital inkjet presses and mechanical and computer aptitude preferred.
• Experience in variable data printing, mailing services, and set up of inserters and print bindery equipment is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills.
