Job summary

Omega Plastics Inc is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift at our Clinton Township, MI facility. The role focuses on safe part handling, mold operations as directed, and post mold operations to produce quality parts.

You will work Monday-Friday with some Saturdays 3:30pm-12:00am, be on-site, and contribute to regulatory standards including ISO13485 for medical clients. Experience in Plastic Injection Machine Operation is preferred, with pay between $16.00 and $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Plastic Injection Machine Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove parts from press.
• Ensure part quality with attention to detail during production or secondary work.
• Receive training and follow operator instructions during molding or assembly.
• Notify if a part does not match the approved sample.
• Install preloads or other items for molding as needed.
• Trim or assemble parts to specification.
• Package parts correctly and in the correct count.
• Record job specifics and scrap totals on tally sheets.
• Use computer for time recording and job assignment accounting.
• Keep work area clean.
• Adhere to regulatory and customer requirements, including ISO13485 for medical clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary

• Clean work area.
• Awareness of regulatory and customer requirements as it pertains to Omega’sclients, especially for Omega’s medicalclients (ref. ISO13485)

Essential Functions

Workperformed in an office and manufacturing plant environment. Normal mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.Frequently exposed to varying temperatures within plant depending upon external weather conditions.Frequently walks, stands, grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches, and lifts and carries up to fifty-five(55) pounds routinely throughout the day.

Onsite

Thisrole is required to be on-site 5-6days at the Clinton Township,MIlocation.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1 year of Plastic Injection Machine Operator experience preferred.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hour. This shift qualifies for a shift premium.
