Employment Type: Hourly

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet or exceed all internal and external customer requirements. Follow policies and procedures in a manufacturing environment to ensure successful execution of responsibilities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate filling and/or packaging equipment, including completing preventive maintenance, adjusting machinery, and making minor mechanical repairs.
2. Understand the functions of the filler and packing machines, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments via the HMI.
3. Maintain production and quality records, operate equipment safely, and keep the work area clean.
4. Assist in training production assistants, ensuring adherence to quality parameters, GMPs, and safety rules; evaluate trainees.
5. Manage information in the product library.
6. Perform sanitation of filling line equipment, including operating CIP circuits and mixing chemicals safely while wearing PPE.
7. Follow food safety policies, including SQF, GMPs, FSMA, and preventive controls.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of filling and packaging equipment.
• Good mechanical skills, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues and maintaining machinery.

Work Environment:

Shifts typically last 8-12 hours. Additional hours, including weekends, may be required. PPE must be worn as required. Work may involve outdoor or adverse conditions, exposure to chemicals, allergens, and working at heights.
