Carlisle Brake & Friction is seeking a General Machine Operator for our Bloomington, IN facility. The role focuses on operating mechanical and automated equipment for brake, clutch and transmission components, with responsibilities including setup, operation, and quality checks.

The position requires 2nd or 3rd shift availability, safety-conscious performance, and the ability to work with measuring tools and standard software on the shop floor. Training provided; benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years manufacturing or machine operation preferred, willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift tooling and parts up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical or automated machinery per router and setup instructions.
• Perform quality checks per control plan.
• Maintain and clean equipment before/after each shift.
• Record issues on hourly boards and suggest improvements.
• Complete preventative maintenance procedures as assigned.
