CentroMotion, Carlisle Brake & Friction in Medina, Ohio, is seeking a General Machine Operator to run mechanical or automated presses for brake, clutch and transmission components. This role may be on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, with a focus on safe operation and quality.

You will review equipment, prepare materials, adjust parameters, perform quality checks, and document issues. Candidates should have a high school diploma and manufacturing experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability

• One year or more of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level.

• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize work and multitask as needed.
• Must have a reliable attendance history and good work performance history.

Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical or automated machinery for production of brake, clutch and transmission components.
• Review equipment at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
• Ensure needed materials are ready and notify supervision of shortages.
• Adjust equipment parameters as stated in the router.
• Operate equipment as stated in the router.
• Perform quality checks per control plan.
• Document issues on hourly boards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor equipment and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift.
• Complete operator-specific preventative maintenance procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
