Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Milford, NJ is seeking safety-oriented Machine Operators. Earn $24.25 per hour on 2nd or 3rd shift, with 1st shift orientation and a 30-day shift assignment. Differential pay adds $1.50 (2nd) or $2.00 (3rd) per hour. Eligible for a quarterly bonus up to 6% under Performance Pay.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience operating production machinery.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specifications.
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
