Job summary

Kellanova, at our Wyoming, MI plant, is seeking a Machine Operator to support processing and packaging on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will ensure equipment is set up properly, operate PC-controlled or mechanical machinery, and contribute to a strong safety culture. Weekend OT may be required.

We value attention to safety and quality, teamwork across maintenance, quality, and logistics, and reliable, hands-on operators who can work extended hours while maintaining product standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or a related position.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, technical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of fifty pounds.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

• Prioritizing Safety & Quality First — Follow company safety rules and good manufacturing practices.
• Operating Equipment Efficiently — Work with computer-controlled equipment or mechanically-based machines and take ownership of your equipment and processes.
• Managing Machine Performance — Ensure your equipment is running smoothly by performing quality checks, autonomous maintenance, and preparing materials needed to run our products.
• Working as a Team — Establish strong partnerships with the quality & food safety, maintenance, logistics, continuous improvement teams.
