A.R. Mazzotta is seeking a Machine Operator in the Watertown, CT area for 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training on the 1st shift. Earn $18.00 per hour on a contract-to-hire basis, with potential for long-term employment.

You will operate grinding machines, read blueprints, perform in-process inspections, and build valuable setup and troubleshooting skills as you advance. Ideal candidates have hands-on grinding machine experience, strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read prints, and comfort using

We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals with hands-on grinding machine operating experience who are interested in advancing their skills. You'll start by operating machines and performing quality checks, with the opportunity to learn machine setup and troubleshooting as your experience grows.

What You'll Do

• Operate grinding machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to verify products meet print requirements.
• Use standard manufacturing measuring devices to check dimensions and product quality.
• Perform in-process inspections and complete required quality documentation.
• Learn to select appropriate tooling for specific grinding operations.
• Develop machine setup skills and learn to make adjustments for production requirements.
• Identify production issues and participate in developing solutions to improve machine performance and product quality.
