Started Operations in 1985. Fort Smith team works 24/7 creating wet‑formed fiberglass mat that is used in further manufacturing processes, such as shingles. Our new facility is nearing completion and has increased the size of our team, and another new production line is just starting construction.

Fort Smith crews work 12‑hour shift on a 2‑week rotation with 3‑Day Weekend every other week.
Week 1 – 36 Hours: Monday; Thursday; Friday
Week 2 – 48 Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday; Saturday; Sunday
Additionally, crews rotate between Day & Night Shift every 28 days allowing teams to have the best of both worlds and plan personal activities on Off Days.
Team members perform any duty within level on a rotation basis; including general production support duties as directed by supervisor. Support production by doffing, inspecting, weighing, labeling, and packing Mat production. Provide material handling to support production line. Salvage products from out‑of‑spec materials and ensure external quality of products salvaged. Perform general housekeeping and participate in downtime cleaning activities. Bump up and cross‑train in higher levels as required.
