Job summary

Techmer PM is seeking a Machine Operator for its Dalton, GA facility on the 1st shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with initial training on a shared schedule. Operate extrusion and mixing equipment to produce plastic compounds for unique customer applications, following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Extrusion experience is highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment.

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for our Dalton, Georgia facility.

• Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Training Schedule: Initial training will be conducted on the current shift:
  • 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Monday through Thursday
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for unique and specialty customer applications. Works safely to protect themselves, their coworkers, and the facility by following all standard operating procedures. Engaged in process measurement, control, and improvement in all aspects of their assigned tasks. Learns and understands key operating parameters which ensure that only in specification and high-quality product is delivered to our customers.
