Looking for a hands‑on manufacturing role with steady work and growth opportunities? Join Duraco Specialty Materials in Forest Park, IL as a Machine Operator AB and play a key role in producing high‑quality specialty materials that serve customers across a variety of industries. Experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

What You'll Do

• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of production equipment after training
• Run equipment such as slitters, laminators, coaters, presses, compactors, and material handling equipment
• Monitor production quality using measuring devices and job specifications
• Calculate production rates, yields, and quantities
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors
• Use computer systems for data collection, label generation, and production information
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Participate in safety initiatives, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong hands‑on work ethic
• Ability to read measurements and use measuring tools accurately
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety requirementsComfortable with physical work, including standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift
