Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Material Handler for the Prime Windows team. 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm with a base pay of $20.00/hr. You will load/unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support daily operations on the branch.

Responsibilities include safe order completion, inventory checks, ERP updates, and assisting coworkers and customers. Benefits start day 1 and include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading; operate forklift, overhead crane and basic construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, and on time.
• Assist coworkers and customers; inspect materials, machinery, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including ERP system updates; maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Move inventory between workstations and areas as needed; comply with safety requirements.

JOB DETAILS

1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Base pay rate is $20.00/hr.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
