Job summary

Ahead, LLC is seeking a Level 1E machine operator to run a 12-head embroidery machine and uphold high quality and production standards at the New Bedford, MA facility. The role progresses from Level 1E during training to a full Level 1 operator once certified, with responsibilities expanding as proficiency grows.

The position offers a 3:30 pm–12:00 am schedule, Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Job description

The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12 head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. The machine operator will be considered a level 1E operator until they are fully trained and certified that they are capable to be productive on the embroidery machine. At that point the level 1E machine operator will be moved to a level 1 machine operator and no longer in training.

SCHEDULE -

3:30 pm - 12:00 am; Monday – Friday with Overtime during the week as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience preferred

• Ability to use hands, fingers and arms to touch, handle, pinch or grasp
• Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, kneel and crouch
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Exposure to moderate noise level.
