Job summary

Ahead, LLC is seeking a level 1E machine operator to run a 12-head embroidery machine and maintain high quality and production at our New Bedford facility.

The position progresses from level 1E to level 1 after completing training and certification. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime on Saturdays when required. Eligible for standard company benefits and a supportive team environment.

Job description

The level 1E machine operator is responsible for operating one 12 head embroidery machine and ensuring a high level of quality and production. The machine operator will be considered a level 1E operator until they are fully trained and certified that they are capable to be productive on the embroidery machine. At that point the level 1E machine operator will be moved to a level 1 machine operator and no longer in training.

SCHEDULE -

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am – noon) as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to demonstrate fine dexterity skills
• Ability to walk, bend, reach, kneel and crouch
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Exposure to moderate noise level.
