Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Machine Operator to safely set up, operate, and maintain high-volume mail inserting equipment on 1st or 2nd shift. This temp-to-hire role offers weekly pay and reliable hours in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a small team, verify production paperwork, and ensure pieces are processed accurately while following safety procedures and postal regulations.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of production, manufacturing, or machine operation experience within the last 2 years.
• Ability to read basic instructions, write simple information, and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently bend, stretch, and lift up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Verify production paperwork and job tickets to ensure mail pieces are processed accurately
• Sort, package, and prepare completed mail according to postal regulations and shipping requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine housekeeping around equipment
• Report machine malfunctions, production delays, or quality concerns to the shift supervisor promptly
