Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Machine Operator in Edina, MN. In this role you’ll support production, monitor equipment, and help maintain quality in a clean, modern facility with weekly pay.

The position offers temp-to-hire status, full-time hours on all shifts, and requires English literacy, ability to lift up to 82 lbs, and safe work around moving machinery. Weekly pay and benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Able to read and navigate HMI panels.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Understand and use safety documents and product drawings.
• Physical ability to pull up to 82 lbs and push up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and standard work documents.
• Use a computer to check emails, complete training, review MOCs.
• Complete daily pre-task hazard assessments (I-Card).
• Manage product queues to keep equipment running.
• Maintain product quality standards and elevate issues when needed.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products using handling equipment and forklifts.
• Maintain housekeeping and solve basic problems using math skills.

What You’ll Do as an Operator

What You Need to Bring to the Operator Role

• Ability to read and navigate Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) panels
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to comprehend product drawings, BOMs, and safety documents
• Physical ability to pull up to 82 lbs and push up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodations)
• Comfortable working safely around moving equipment with sharp blades and rotating parts
• Reliable transportation to Edina, MN
