Job summary

Champion Personnel is hiring 4 experienced Machine Operators for a small, family-owned manufacturer in Cleveland. These are 2nd shift positions, with training on 1st shift for up to two months before moving to 2nd shift.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, contract-to-hire, with 4 openings. You will learn to set up and operate equipment used to produce stainless-steel threaded meter rods, monitor cycles up to 30 minutes, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Real machine operating experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Excellent attendance, especially during training.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery that produces stainless-steel threaded meter rods.
• Load rods into the machine and monitor the production process.
• Ensure the finished product meets all specifications.
• During training, begin on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift after about two months.
