Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Machine Operator 1 for the Entrances Department in Texas. You will set up and operate equipment, fabricate and assemble doors with hand and power tools, and perform quality inspections to ensure product quality.

The role requires reading tapes and fabrication drawings, using powered tools, and willingness to be trained in other areas. 1st shift with overtime and a focus on safety and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and follow written instructions.
• Experience with powered industrial tools and hand tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet time constraints.
• Willingness to be trained to work in other areas and to work 1st shift with overtime.

The Machine Operator 1 is focused on working with the Entrances Department with set-up and operation of equipment. May operate different machines to ensure the equipment is working efficiently. This role reports to theMaintenance supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has decision making, continuous improvement and trust and reliability skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

• This position is responsible for general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools, quality inspections as well as other duties which may be assigned
• Qualified candidates must be able to work1stshiftwith periods of required over time
