Eaton, located at the Weathers St site in Youngsville, NC, is seeking a Machine Operator to assemble wire harnesses and perform quality checks to engineering specs. The role involves crimping, soldering, machine setup, and basic troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Core hours are 6:00am–2:30pm Monday–Thursday and 6:00am–2:00pm Friday, with overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits including health, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical trade role or harness experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available; only candidates in 50-mile radius will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from geographic area limitation.
• Preferred: harness assembly experience; ability to solder or attend training; basic computer knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Build various wire harnesses to engineering specs using automated and hand crimpers and soldering activities.
• Perform quality inspections following control plans and SPC charts; pull and continuity testing; gauge checks; machine set-ups; basic troubleshooting; 5S activities.
• Non-routine duties include sorting/inspection of suspect material, processing rework, and assisting other product lines as directed by supervision.

This includes performing quality inspections (following control plans, reaction charts, SPC charts, etc.), Pull and continuity testing, gauge checks, machine set-ups, basic troubleshooting, manual handling of material and 5S activities.• Non-routine duties may include Sorting/inspection of suspect material, processing rework, assisting other product lines, and other duties, as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution• Minimum 1 year of experience in a mechanical trade role or harness experience• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
