Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machines proficiently.
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including quantities, machine settings, and issues encountered.
  • Work efficiently at process speed and/or standard rates.
  • Report problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, or materials to the supervisor.
  • Maintain daily records of product output and scrap.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
  • Keep the work station and surrounding area clean and organized.
  • Maintain all assigned tools in good condition.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Willingness to cross-train in multiple roles.
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
  • Teamwork skills and adherence to safety regulations.
