Pay Range: $26.50 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience.

Additional Earning Opportunities:

Available Shifts:

  • Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Sat from 7pm-7am
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Sat from 7pm-7am

General Scope of Responsibilities: Operate production line machinery to manufacture high-quality monofilament fibers. Collaborate within a team to maintain safe, efficient production with a commitment to high quality standards. Join a team in a very clean plant environment that you would be proud to work alongside.

Job Duties:

  • Set up and operate production line equipment to extrude monofilament fiber according to work orders and safety guidelines.
  • Perform changeovers as part of a team effort.
  • Ensure proper winding of filament on spools and adjust tension as needed.
  • Implement machine adjustments as directed by Quality Assurance.
  • Package finished products and manage empty spools.
  • Document production information and maintain machine-related charts.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and production area.
  • Troubleshoot machinery to resolve production issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Fulfill additional tasks assigned by Team Leaders.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Proficiency in basic math concepts.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Education/Experience/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity or experience with Lean Sigma concepts or certifications advantageous.

Working Conditions: This role involves bending, stooping, and lifting up to 55 pounds daily. Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 10+ hours per shift) is required. Candidates will work in environments with noise, warm temperatures, and industrial equipment, necessitating the use of all required safety equipment.
