Job summary

MUSH is seeking a Machine Operator to run production lines, perform quality checks, and guide a small team in the production room. You will help ensure all filling aligns with SOPs, maintain equipment, and support batch quality controls.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing, GMP familiarity, and a self-starting attitude. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Utah on-site position with growth opportunities in sanitation and safety culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage filling and production of MUSH products per SOPs and batch QC procedures.
• Ensure ingredients, WIP, supplies, tools and equipment are used, cleaned, stored per SOPs.
• Maintain production paperwork accuracy and inventory control for packaging materials.
• Collaborate with maintenance for efficient operation and preventive maintenance.
• Lead 3–5 people in the production room to ensure efficiency, accuracy and quality.
• Support continuous improvement and a strong food safety culture.
• Sanitize and clean processing and production equipment.

Machine Operator

Role Description

Machine Operators are responsible for assembling machines, conducting quality checks, troubleshooting and leading small teams in the production room. Machine Operators assist the Batcher in ensuring all filling of product is done in specification and compliance to production and quality standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Manage filling and production of MUSH products, in accordance to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch quality control procedures
• Ensures all ingredients, work-in-progress, supplies, tools and equipment are used, cleaned, and stored according to the SOPs
• Execute in lot control, production paperwork accuracy, and inventory control procedures for all packaging materials
• Work with maintenance to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and well maintained, perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Leads 3-5 people in production room to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality
• Champions production efficiency, continuous improvement, and a food safety and quality culture
• Perform the proper sanitation and cleaning of processing and production equipment

Tactical Requirements:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing
• Experience in Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) and safety regulations, technical experience in machine mechanics and equipment troubleshooting
• Self starter, with a desire to learn, grow, and evolve as a professional
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, methodical, disciplined, and detail-oriented
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, team-focused and with the ability to hold others accountable
