Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Machine Operator to work with the Maintenance Department to set-up, start-up, and operate rotational molding equipment, producing plastic parts of acceptable quality at a steady output rate during production runs.

This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for the entire shift.
• Able to lift, push, pull and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with repetitive physical work in manufacturing.
• Attend to safety and quality standards consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/load molds and machine with resin per order specs.
• Monitor machine for quality and production rate targets.
• Make adjustments with supervision to cycle-time and temp.
• Write and maintain production scrap reports for compounding.
• Perform mold maintenance: clean parting lines, change filters.
• Understand alignment with ISO requirements.
• Follow SOPs and 5S standards; keep area organized.
• Wear required PPE; comply with safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned and related to production.
