Job description

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining and monitoring machinery to ensure the optimal performance, safety and quality standards in line with company production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, Operate and monitor packaging machinery to produce high quality, biodegradable products
• Conduct routine equipment checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed
• Ensure optimal speed and efficiency of machines
• Perform minor maintenance and report major mechanical problems to the maintenance team
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with health and safety regulations
• Record production data and report on output and downtime
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality adherence
• Follow SOPs and work instructions accurately
• Assist in inventory checks of raw materials and packaging supplies

Required hands-on, technical or other types of training to perform the job:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
