Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator in Birchwood, WI. The role involves operating in a high-performance manufacturing environment, inspecting machines, loading components, and ensuring quality and safety on the line.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, good math skills, and the ability to read work instructions. A HS diploma or GED is required, with pre-employment checks and potential overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation machine inspections and load screws and hinges.
• Sort and push door stacks down conveyor tracks.
• Load hinge machine with bifold door panels for hinging and inspect hardware alignment.
• Pull off cullboards, change bits, restock rails and assist as needed.
• Follow safety standards including LOTO and use of air gun during cleanup.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and stand for long periods.
• Rotate positions on the line to support the cross-functional team.

Operators need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to make the team successful.Responsibilities:Pre-operation machine inspection- load screws and hinges.Sort and push door stacks down the conveyor tracks.Use mallet to loosen doors. Load hinge machine with bifold door panels for hinging.
