Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in LaVergne, TN. The role involves setting up and operating grinding machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality during a nightly production run. Training starts on first shift for a few weeks before moving to the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule.

Qualifications

Pay: $19-$23/hr
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Training Provided
Initial training will take place on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM) for a few weeks before transitioning to the regular 3rd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding machines (Stahli or Blanchard models)
• Install, change, and dress grinding wheels
• Inspect and measure parts for quality and accuracy
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Complete production and inspection documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
