Job summary

Aerotek in Saline, MI is seeking a Press Operator to load and unload materials from injection molding and press machines, inspect parts, and perform secondary operations. You will operate production equipment and ensure quality while positioning inserts and finishing parts for the next stage.

The role is contract-to-hire, onsite only, with shifts including C and D and a starting pay of $16.00/hour; pay increases to $17.00-$19.00/hour based on performance and overall proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from injection molding and press machines.
• Inspect molded parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Trim, assemble, and perform secondary operations on parts as required.
• Operate production and assembly equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Position inserts, hand loads, and workpieces for processing.
• Remove completed products from machines and prepare them for the next stage of production.
• Perform visual quality inspections on all products to identify defects or irregularities.
• Complete finishing tasks such as trimming excess material, installing fasteners, and other quality-related operations.

Shifts Available

• C Shift: 6:00 PM - 12:15 AM Monday-Wednesday, plus rotating 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM shifts on Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday
• D Shift: 12:00 AM - 6:15 AM Monday-Wednesday, plus rotating 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM shifts on Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday

Compensation

• Starting Pay: $16.00/hour

Upon being hired directly, pay will increase to $17.00-$19.00/hour based on performance and overall job proficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
