Job summary

TCC Group Companies is seeking a production operator to join its manufacturing team. You will operate mixing systems, packaging, and block production equipment to meet quality and productivity targets.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, performing changeovers, maintaining molds, and assisting with maintenance and inventory. A high school diploma and English proficiency are required, with forklift training a plus.

• Maintain accurate production records and tickets; follow PPE and safety policies.

Job Summary:

What You'll Do:

Perform multiple roles in a manufacturing facility including operating mixing systems, packaging equipment, and/or block production equipment, depending on the assigned facility. Work with a production team to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate all machinery including dryers/curing equipment, mixing/production systems, and other production equipment of block, bagged goods, or other packaged goods related to the assigned production facility.
• Able to set up machines, perform changeovers, align tooling/guides/stops, assemble, and maintain molds, and adjust other production machinery, as required by the production schedule.
• Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance of equipment. Request necessary parts to ensure proper repairs are made.
• Assist maintenance personnel with repairs, as needed. Assist in reviews of inventory levels and completion of inventory forms for ordering raw materials or adjusting inventory.
• Measure and maintain quality and accurate weights of goods on the production line. Recognizes unsafe or defective products and corrects the problems.
• Read production schedules, work orders, and component drawings to assure product quality.
• Legibly record production, process monitors, and production tickets.
• Adhere to the Company policies and House Rules including maintaining a clean work area and wearing the proper PPE.
• Maintain effective working relationships with company employees.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and previous manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company’s safety policy procedures and recommendation.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English and work in a team environment.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing environment with demanding standards for quality and productivity.
• Basic mathematical skills are necessary to fill out production sheets, create and interpret schedules, and determine plant procedures.
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment and process required.
• Experience with manufacturing/production computerized batching/PLC systems
• Forklift training as required by OSHA.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
