Job summary

LiCAP Technologies in Sacramento is scaling a first-of-its-kind dry electrode production line and is building a team to run it. As a Machine Operator, you’ll work hands-on with advanced battery materials manufacturing equipment to produce cathode electrodes using our ADE process.

No prior battery experience required; we’ll train you. You’ll set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, follow SOPs, and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days/evenings/weekends).
• Manufacturing environment experience; standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, PPE required.

The opportunity

LiCAP Technologies is scaling a first-of-its-kind dry electrode production line at our new Sacramento facility — and we’re building the team that will run it. As a Machine Operator, you’ll work hands‑on with advanced battery materials manufacturing equipment, helping produce cathode electrodes using our proprietary Activated Dry Electrode® (ADE®) process. No prior battery experience required — we’ll train you. What we need is reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

What you’ll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment for dry electrode and battery materials processing
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and safety
• Perform routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and first-line maintenance on machinery
• Record production data, material usage, and equipment readings accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with shift leads and engineers to identify and resolve process issues
• Participate in training on LiCAP’s ADE® process and equipment as part of onboarding

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends as scheduled
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment — standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing PPE
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Basic mechanical aptitude — prior hands‑on experience a plus, not required
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
