Job summary

Glenn Metalcraft in Princeton, MN seeks a Machine Operator to operate basic equipment, load machines and robotic arms, and help optimize production flow. You will report daily output, conduct quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while following lockout/tagout and safety policies.

Apply with a high school diploma, up to 6 months machining experience, and a willingness to learn blueprint reading and precise measurement with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and operate machines and robotic arms at a basic level.
  • Report daily production quantities to meet set parts per hour targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow established procedures.
  • Check out tools through the tool crib inventory system.
  • Perform quality checks on products and communicate findings promptly.

Job description

The mission of the Machine Operator is to understand and operate machines and equipment at a basic level, such as configuration of equipment, loading and operating machines and robotic arms, and optimizing machine capability.
