Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Machine Operator in Mount Sterling, KY. The role pays $13.50 per hour and runs Friday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. You will operate foam molding/cutting machines, monitor quality, and support a fast-paced production line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic mechanical aptitude. Training and safety-focused attitude are encouraged; prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Detail

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 13 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
