Job summary

Commercial Metals Corp is seeking a production operator in Georgia to join our team. You will operate production equipment, monitor output quality, and complete paperwork, while adapting to changing priorities and ensuring accurate shift handovers.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and monitor quality of output and machine performance.
• Confirm work receipt and complete required paperwork.
• Adapt to changing priorities and plan to achieve goals.
• Adjust machines using hand tools and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Perform quality inspections on own work to meet production standards.
• Relay shift carry-over information, including job and machine status, to incoming operators.

What You'll Do

• Operate production equipment and monitor the quality of output and machine performance
• Confirm work receipt and complete other required paperwork
• Adapting to changing priorities; making plans to achieve those goals and implementing them
• Adjust machines using company-supplied hand tools and minor maintenance; asking questions and getting clarifications as needed
• Work independently performing quality inspections on own work to meet production standards
• Ensure that all pertinent information related to shift carry-over, including job and machine status, is conveyed to the incoming operators during shift transitions.
• Maintain an organized workstation
• Attend appropriate training and meetings as required
• Always adhere to company safety policies and procedures
