Job summary

CMC in Alabama is seeking a production operator to join our team. You will operate control stations and header carts, keep the machinery clean and in working order, and verify the quality of materials used in production, including concrete and wire reinforcement.

You will inspect wire cages and reinforcements, supply components to machines, and help meet production schedules while ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

1+ year(s) industry experience.
English language proficiency; Spanish is a plus.
Computer knowledge / skills.

Responsibilities

Operate control station and header cart.
Ensure machine is clean and is in good working order.
Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement).
Inspect wire cages / reinforcements.
Supply machine with necessary components to make product.
Meet production schedule numbers.
Produce quality product.
Be able to perform basic troubleshooting on production and concrete batching machinery.
