Direct Hire Opportunity from The Advance Group with a growing Manufacturing company in Monroe!!

Currently looking for a skilled Machine Operator to fill a direct hire position with one of our companies in Monroe, MI. Interested candidates should have 1 year of previous machine operating experience and basic math skills.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator

• Operate multiple ram extrusion machines
• Cut, weigh and record product
• Complete necessary paperwork

Requirements of the Machine Operator

• Candidates must have minimum 1 year previous manufacturing experience along with longevity in past positions
• Basic math skills, including a general understanding of fractions and decimals
• Must be comfortable with using hand tools and measuring devices; tape measure, micrometers, calipers
• Must be able to stand at length, walk, crouch, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical
• Must have flexible schedule

Hours for Machine Operator

• Third Shift- 11:15pm-7:30am
• May be required to train on First Shift- 7:15am-3:30pm

Compensation and Benefits for the Machine Operator

• Salary: $21.80/hr
