Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Machine Operator to work with a global water technology leader in Minnetonka, MN. The role offers stability, growth, and the chance to contribute to impactful work the company does in production environments.

You will operate membrane production and coating equipment, perform setup and cleanup, and enter production data into databases and SAP. Training is provided on the first shift, and there is a long-term opportunity for dedicated candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of machine operator or similar technical experience.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the full shift.
• Willing to work with chemicals with proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and clean membrane production and coating equipment.
• Pull thin plastic from the machine, prepare and package membrane.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify and fix root causes to minimize scrap.
• Enter production data into databases and SAP.

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You will:

• Set-up, operate, and clean membrane production and coating equipment
  
• Pull thin plastic from the machine, prepare and package membrane
  
• Perform troubleshooting to identify and correct root cause of malfunction to minimize scrap
  
• Enter production data into database, forms, logs, and SAP

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have at least 12 months of machine operator, maintenance technician, or similar technical experience.
  
• Can lift up to 50 lbs.move, bend, and be on your feet for your entire shift.
  
• Are willing to work with chemicals with proper PPE, depending on the role.
  
• Are able to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes.
