Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot thermoforming and production equipment to meet specifications.
• Ensure efficient machine setup including materials, cycle times, and production output.
• Inspect machinery and tooling prior to operation to ensure readiness.
• Monitor product quality and identify nonconforming materials or defects.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping tasks.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate job status during shift handoffs.
• Follow GMP, safety procedures, and wear proper PPE.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production issues.

Job Overview

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operating Technician for our Plymouth, MN location who enjoys working with manufacturing equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently. If you have mechanical aptitude, machine set-up experience, attention to detail, and want to grow your career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)- $22.00-$23.00/hour depending on shift desired.

Work Schedule

First (1st) shift from 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday through Friday. Onsite role based in Plymouth, MN.
Second (2nd) shift from 3:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday through Friday. Onsite role based in Plymouth, MN.
Third (3rd) shift from 11:00 pm-7:00 am Monday through Friday. Onsite role based in Plymouth, MN.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of manufacturing or related experience
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment
• Knowledge of quality control or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Bending, stooping, reaching, and working in a manufacturing environment
