Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing or production equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, automated equipment, or PLC-controlled machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support production needs on 2nd shift.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial manufacturing and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement effective, timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate and maintain diagnostic tools, test equipment, and specialized manufacturing machinery.
• Inspect equipment, complete work orders, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician willing to work 2nd shift at our Madison, WI facility with strong industrial maintenance experience who enjoys working with high-tech manufacturing equipment, solving problems on the fly, and keeping operations running at peak performance. Compensation

Based on experience, the pay range is $30.00 – $35.00 per hour.

Work Schedule

2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Works 1 weekend per month
• Onsite in Madison, WI

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Minimum three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing or production equipment
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation
• Experience with motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, automated equipment, or PLC-controlled machinery preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach
• Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support production needs on 2nd shift
