Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st or 2nd shift in an onsite, temp-to-hire role. The position requires reading blueprints, operating machinery, troubleshooting, and teamwork.

Overtime is eligible, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 4:00 PM–12:30 AM shifts. Candidates must be computer literate, have manufacturing experience, and pass a competency test plus a pre-employment physical including drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the machine.
• Load programs from job folders.
• Load steel onto carts for the machine.
• Change out lenses as required.
• Clean the machine and surrounding area.
• Perform routine maintenance on the machine.
