Job summary

Global Power Components, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks and enclosures, is seeking a dedicated Band Saw Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts. Training is available; candidate should be motivated, detail-oriented and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include operating an automated band saw to cut metal/steel, reading blueprints and measuring devices, and using an overhead crane when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a band saw cutting metal/steel.
• Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints.
• Willing to work first or second shift; must pass pre-employment tests.
• Must pass pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated band saw to cut metal/steel.
• Assist with overhead crane operation as needed.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and document results.
