Machine Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift- Mills River - Up to $21.50/hr.

PrideStaff is currently seekingaMachine Operator for1st and 2nd Shiftfor a manufacturing company located in Mills River.

Position Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates fabrication machines, such as brake and punch presses.
• Creates and assembles metal work pieces.
• Follows specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard and metric measurements.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
