Job summary

Mann in Louisa, VA, is seeking a production machinery operator to assist in setup, adjustment, and operation of equipment to produce goods according to specifications. You will support acquiring operation plans and processing manufacturing batches, including mechanical processing as required.

You will perform cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance to keep machines in good working order, monitor operation, carry out repairs as needed, identify causes of problems, and help optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
• Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
• Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
• Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
• Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
• Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
