Job summary

Closets by Design - Chicago South is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join our growing team in Lisle, IL. You will operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, adhere to quality and safety standards, and help maintain shop equipment on a daily basis.

We offer $20 per hour starting pay, paid holidays and time off, health and retirement benefits, tools provided, and an open-door policy with the owner. Prior woodworking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred.
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Operations Manager.

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.

Job Requirements
