Job summary

Conagra Brands, Inc. is hiring for an on-site packaging operator at our Lincoln, Nebraska facility. The role focuses on operating and monitoring packaging equipment to safely produce high-quality ready-to-eat popcorn products while contributing to continuous improvement and food safety standards.

You will follow safety rules, document production results, and assist with sanitation and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Understanding of basic machine operations and equipment settings.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety while operating and monitoring packaging machines to deliver quality products to customers.
• Inspect packaging materials to confirm proper forming and sealing and monitor equipment to prevent line jams.
• Document quality and production results, including code dates, material usage, and metal detection checks.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Participate in ongoing improvement efforts to enhance efficiency across the production line.
• Support equipment sanitation and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $23.03 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Hourly Rate: $23.03 an hour + $1.00 shift premium; $24.49 + $1.00 shift premium after 90 days.

Reporting to the shift Team Leader, you will operate and monitor packaging equipment to safely produce high‑quality ready‑to‑eat popcorn products at our Lincoln, Nebraska facility. You will contribute to continuous improvement efforts, support food safety and quality standards, and help maintain a clean, efficient production environment.

Physical Requirements

More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include:

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
