About the Role

A Talos Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that equipment and machinery operate smoothly, and the product meets quality standards for our customers.

In this role, you will…

• Must be able to read and understand various measuring tools such as a tape measure, calipers, or micrometers.
• Must be able to learn and/or run at least one piece of manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to acquire a general understanding of quality expectations and standards
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints/work orders, to ensure proper components are being used in the product
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
• Must have a positive attitude every day as defined by leadership and peers

Qualifications by Machine Operator Level:

Machine Operator I

• Must have all qualifications of a Machine Operator I

Machine Operator II

• Must have a positive attitude every day as defined by leadership and peers
• Must be able to set up and run multiple pieces of equipment
• Must be able to work independently without the direction of others, while producing quality work without defect
• Must be able to troubleshoot issues with assigned primary machine
• Must be able to train Level I Machine Operator
• Must be self-motivated

Machine Operator III

• Cannot have 7 or more points on attendance record
• Must have all the qualifications of a Machine Operator II
• Must be able to set up and run multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot minor issues with primary machine
• Must be able to direct product and materials through the department for maximum efficiency
• Must understand and follow all quality protocols as defined by the QC team
• Must demonstrate leadership skills such as mentoring and managing machine schedules
