Job Title: Machine Operator at WIKA Group

Join us to apply for the Machine Operator role at WIKA Group.

Responsibilities include:

1. Observing machine operation to verify accuracy and detect malfunctions, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
2. Adjusting machine settings to control the part process.
3. Inspecting the first part and workpieces throughout production for out-of-tolerance machining.
4. Fine-tuning machine settings for optimal performance.
5. Cleaning and maintaining machines, tooling, and parts to ensure equipment is in top condition.
6. Carefully monitoring machine operation to prevent costly damages.
7. Assisting mechanics and machinists with repairs.
8. Providing on-the-job training to new employees.
9. Performing other duties as needed.

Candidate profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in noisy environments.
• Color vision and the ability to distinguish colors.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
• Knowledge of drill fixtures, jigs, and basic machining applications.
• Ability to read blueprints and set up machines accordingly.
