Job summary

Kelly is seeking an Associate Machine Operator in Largo, FL to produce parts using manual and automated equipment. You will follow procedures, read blueprints, and measure parts to ensure quality. Training is provided for reading drawings and operating equipment.

Salary for 1st and 2nd shifts is $17.50–$19.20 per hour. 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Shift & Pay Rates

1st Shift (7am-3:30 pm) $17.50/hr

2nd Shift (3:24 PM-11:54?PM) $19.20/hr

Purpose

Job Description

As an Associate Machine Operator, you will produce parts that meet requirements using manual and/or automated equipment, following established procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate various manual and CNC machines already set up with defined processes
• Follow written and verbal instructions; read basic blueprints or mechanical drawings (training provided)
• Identify machining or manufacturing issues to ensure defect-free parts
• Perform measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Learn and perform basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines
• Maintain production rates established for each operation
• Complete additional duties or special projects as assigned

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Basic blueprint or mechanical drawing reading skills
• Basic shop math understanding
• Ability to operate production machinery and measuring equipment accurately
• Strong attention to detail for quality and compliance

Work Experience

• 0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic metrology (calipers, micrometers) experience preferred
